We are currently recruiting for a prestigious jewelry design and manufacturing company based in South East Asia.
Performance Reporting Analyst
Role Context
The Performance Reporting unit is part of the Finance & Treasury Division and is responsible for production, distribution and analysis of management reports across all divisions of the Bank. The role is particularly important as it ensures analysis, integrity and consistency across divisions. It is integral in supporting the business to make proper strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
*Understand what the business needs in making strategic decisions and support them by providing relevant and accurate information
*Provide valuable insights and analysis of the information presented to the business
*Support the Bank Management by providing performance evaluation of each business division, each branch and other channels
*Assist in ensuring sales incentives calculation framework is in line with business direction
*Prepare analytical reports such as Interest Earnings calculation model, ALCO material and Market Risk report amongst others
*Calculate and analyse profitability by line of business, ensuring accurate revenue and cost allocations
*Support further enhancements to internal MIS reporting to align more closely with world class standards (often involves financial modelling)
*Work closely with the business and other parts of the Finance & Treasury Division to ensure data integrity and consistency across Divisions
*Other ad hoc requests / projects as required
*Support any project deliverables that relate to Performance Reporting area
Skills & Qualifications Required
*Excellent communications skills
*Good command of written and spoken English
*Accounting knowledge combined with strong business acumen
*Ability to manage tasks effectively and to motivate team members
*Undergraduate qualifications from a reputable international University with outstanding academic results
*Intermediate Financial Modelling skills (implying excellent Excel skills)
Experience Required
*Minimum 5 years experience in banking (preferably including a minimum of 2 years with a Multinational bank)
*International experience will be highly regarded
